Born and raised in Corbin, Kentucky, attorney Shane Romines returned to his hometown in 2003 to launch his own law firm. He attended the University of Kentucky College of Law, where he earned a JD, and passed the Kentucky bar before joining Clark & Ward as an associate attorney. When he returned to Corbin, Shane Romines established Romines Law Office, PLLC, and began handling cases related to personal injury, estate planning, divorce and family law, among other practice areas. Enjoying rapid growth in the first two months, he decided to bring on board a well-respected personal injury and family law attorney, Martha Farmer Copeland, and together they formed Copeland & Romines Law Office, PLLC.
Shane Romines devotes 90 percent of his time to litigation, and has received awards for his work including best lawyer in the Tri-Counties and a People’s Choice award. He maintains memberships with the Kentucky Justice Academy and the Kentucky Bar Association and also belongs to the Corbin Rotary Club and Woodbine Christian Church. In his free time, he enjoys boating and riding his motorcycle.
